Feds consider gas stove ban because of health risk claims
How the ‘green’ movement is trying to STEAL your stove!
It’s a sad state of affairs.
The latest research shows that Americans are SICKER and DYING YOUNGER than our European counterparts.
Our life expectancy is PLUMMETING.
Yet the feds seem like they couldn’t be BOTHERED with trying to keep us healthy and well.
But get a load of what they ARE paying attention to… and pointing the finger at.
Gas stoves!
Are you KIDDING me? Big Pharma is PUMPING us full of drugs with devastating side effects… docs are MISDIAGNOSING us… and hospitals are MISTREATING us…
And the REAL problem is in our own kitchens?
C’mon – what kind of nanny state is this?!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not particularly attached to the Big Appliance industry or even the natural gas lobby. I’d rather cook on an open flame from a campfire out in the middle of nowhere somewhere.
But have you ever TRIED cooking on an electric stovetop? The burners take FOREVER to heat up… and then it immediately BURNS whatever you put on top of it!
There’s a good reason they used to say, “Now you’re cooking with gas”…
But now, government overreach is trying to snatch that power right out of your hands.
They’re actually using this bizarro claim as a reason to BAN gas stoves!
Their argument is that gas stoves contribute to air pollution both inside and outside our homes… possibly leading to breathing conditions like asthma.
But the science is in no way conclusive… and this is NOT an open-and-shut case.
Besides, is that REALLY what the feds care about? Or are they just trying to placate those “Green New Deal” leftists… by electrifying EVERYTHING?
Listen, if they want to ban gas stoves in new houses and apartment buildings… which has already happened in “woke” states like California… fine. But they can keep their grubby paws off my burners.
Nobody’s gonna tell me how to fry up my dinner or boil my water.
Truth is, cooking with any kind of heat does release some particulate matter and gases into the air – so ventilation is key, REGARDLESS of how you’re cooking (or what you’re cooking on).
Open your kitchen windows… use your range hood to vent the air… and flip on your air purifier (outfitted with a HEPA filter, of course).
To be extra careful, make sure you’ve got a carbon monoxide detector installed to keep your levels in check.
And then lock your door… and don’t answer when the feds come a-knockin’.
