Get a Parkinson’s diagnosis… and your mainstream doc will probably tell you there’s nothing you could’ve done.

Yes, the vegetarian approach significantly lowered PD risk – with a catch.
The “plants” had to be healthy, fresh foods… like vegetables, nuts, and tea…
Which brought down PD risk by a whopping 22%.
When the “plant-eaters” consumed an UNHEALTHY diet… and yes, vegetarians can eat plenty of garbage that contains no meat…
It actually sent their risk of Parkinson’s SOARING… by 38%.
Bottom line: It’s not about whether you eat meat or go meatless.
It’s about the overall quality of your diet. Healthy is healthy, and junk is junk.
Some of the “unhealthy” foods reported in this latest study included treats you might suspect…
Like pastries… sugar-sweetened cereals… soda… fried foods… and salty snacks.
But some of the others might surprise you…
Like fruit juices (even orange juice!)… and fruit smoothies.
Mind you, fresh fruits were totally fine… because they provide a lot of fiber in their natural state… and a TON of nutrients.
But when you DRINK fruit that’s been juiced… well, that ends up being a sugar bomb, plain and simple.
I do take issue with one of the foods the study deemed to be health – and that’s those “vegetarian alternative” foods, like fake chicken and beefless burgers.
The media blitz behind going “beyond” your standard patties is, to put it bluntly, a giant scam. It’s baseless… misleading… and downright false.
It’s NOT better to replace your natural, unprocessed, organic animal proteins with factory-made, frozen nuggets.
Think of all the PROCESSING they need to do to make a plant look and taste ANYTHING like real meat!
Don’t fall for this hoax…
And don’t MISS OUT on the benefits of eating meat… including BUILDING stronger muscle tissue and BOOSTING your brain with animal fat intake!
I like the Mediterranean diet for BEATING BACK Parkinson’s… and for overall health. It keeps some healthy meats in rotation… as well as nourishing fish… without overdoing it with Texas-sized portions.
And the Mediterranean diet has shown to help DELAY the onset of PD symptoms… and even EASE symptom severity.
